Beyoncé has reportedly been added to the all-star cast of the upcoming movie, One Hit Wonders. The film centers on the failed careers of 1990-era one-and-dones, who come together to form a supergroup.
Bey would be joined in the film by Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon, who have been confirmed already. Andy Samberg will co-star as a musician who writes music for the "Wonders."
Ryan Murphy will pen the script along with his fellow Glee writers Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Several reports have noted that Murphy generated the idea for the film with Witherspoon and Diaz after the three met over dinner. He then took the script idea to Sony chief Amy Pascal who bought the idea after ten minutes.
