American Lorain Corp. (ALN), a processed snack foods company, Friday reported fiscal 2011 net income of $19.9 million or $0.57 per share, up from $17.8 million or $0.55 per share in the prior year.
Revenue for the year grew 15.8% to $213 million from $184 million last year.
Moving forward, the company expects solid growth in 2012 and beyond.
"We are optimistic about the outlook of our market growth in China and abroad because of growing demand, improving brand recognition, balanced supply, and a potentially easing credit environment...," it said.
