Beyoncé says the First Lady Michelle Obama is the ideal role model for young females like her daughter, Blue Ivy. In an open letter on her website, the singer/actress praised Mrs. Obama for being exactly the type of woman that young girls should aspire to emulate.
"Michelle, is the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman," Bey writes.
"Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us - I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to (sic)," the 31-year-old continued.
Bey and her husband Jay-Z welcomed Blue Ivy, her first child, into the world this past January.
