The Canadian dollar extended previous session's downtrend against is US counterpart in early New York trading on Wednesday, moving past the pivotal support of its 200-day SMA at 1.0055 after a gap of more than 3-months. The loonie is presently worth 1.0064 against the greenback with 1.0150 seen as the next likely downside target level.
