E*Trade Financial Corp. (ETFC) said its April 2012 daily average revenue trades or DARTs decreased 9.4 percent to 145,769 from last year's 160,907. The company added 36,060 gross new brokerage accounts in April, ending the month with some 2.8 million brokerage accounts, an increase of 9,305 from March.
Net new brokerage assets were positive $0.4 billion in the month.
