CACI International Inc. (CACI) said Tuesday that it has been awarded a $23 million task order contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
According to this contract, which is for one base year and two option years, CACI will provide technical and engineering services to the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile program, or SLBM.
The contract was awarded under the Sea Port-e contract received by CACI in 2004.
NSWC Dahlgren, a specialty site for weapon system integration, supports the TRIDENT fire control systems through its Strategic and Weapons Control Systems Department. TRIDENT fire control systems ensure that the systems are ready to accurately target and support a strategic launch of an SLBM.
CACI's lifecycle support services will ensure that the fire control software is delivered error free, on time, and ready to support both the ballistic and cruise missile programs.
