The former Liverpool residences of the members of the Beatles are must-see destinations for Fab Four fans, a fact which has become a problem for those who permanently reside in the neighborhood.

According to the Liverpool Echo, local residents have been complaining that there are "hoards of people" clogging up the streets and sidewalks.

"The tour taxis come zooming up the street and in the summer there are hundreds of them every day. At the weekend they are turning up constantly, even as late as two o'clock in the morning," observed a retired health care worker.

An elderly pair noted that the houses have become lucrative destinations, prompting more and more guide companies to open:

"Sometimes there are up to 200 people outside the house and it can be really overwhelming. It has gone berserk recently with more and more tour companies opening-up," another neighbor added.
