Cymer Q3 Profit Down

Cymer Inc. (CYMI) reported that its third-quarter net income totaled $9.8 million or $0.31 per share, compared to net income of $11.3 million or $0.36 per share in the third quarter of 2011.

Revenue for the quarter totaled $131.5 million compared to revenue of $128.7 million in the third quarter of 2011.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.07 per share on revenues of $148.65 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Best Buy said it is partnering Popsockets to bring products designed by teens from the company's community programs to its store shelves.
