Lithuania's consumer confidence improved slightly in January, data released by the Department of Statistics showed on Wednesday.
The consumer confidence index edged up to -15 in January from -16 recorded in December.
During January, consumers were optimistic regarding their own personal financial situation and the country's economic situation. However, they were more pessimistic regarding unemployment and future savings prospects.
The index reflecting households' view on their personal financial situation in next 12 months rose to -4 from -7.
The index measuring future economic situation climbed markedly and recorded 2 in January compared to -5 in December.
The measure of the view on unemployment in the next 12 months fell to 17 in January from 13 in the previous month. The index mirroring the view on savings prospects dipped to -40 from -39.
