What could only be assumed as taking a leaf out of Google Glass, Sony has unveiled its new waterproof binoculars DEV-50V that can record what you see in both 2D as well as 3D. Adventurous folks now need not lug around a whole bunch of gadgets just to record moments as the new lightweight model comes with a weather resistant design and the ability to view with 25x magnification. It is expected to hit the market this June.

The binoculars are also great for capturing in movement as it comes packed with auto-focus and blur-free modes that help with shaky images. Users can record moments with the device's 20.4 megapixel camera and shoot videos in HD. The dust-resistant binoculars is also top-notch when it comes to viewing in low light as the device is boosted with Hyper gain function in low light that works by increasing brightness in the viewfinder.

With in-built GPS, the gadget comes at a steep price of $2000 but may really be worth it since it's basically a 3-in-one device. The binoculars can also be plugged to the TV to view the recordings or viewed in the PC with its memory card.
