A lift to the upper arm is the fastest growing trend in plastic surgery says a new report from researchers at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). For the study, the society reviewed data collected by plastic surgeons across the country over the last decade.
They found that upper arm lift procedures have increased by a shocking 4,378% over the last ten years, as reported by surgeons. Once ASPS member, Dr. David Reath spoke on the new data with the New York Daily News saying:
"Arms are kind of 'in' in terms of looking good," he said. "The population of people who have had significant weight loss are now getting around to taking care of this. There's always a little bit of a snowball effect as far as people becoming aware."
