Emma Stone and Colin Firth have been cast in Woody Allen's upcoming comedy.

The "Spider-Man" actress—who will also be appearing in "Birdman" soon—has publicly gushed about Woody Allen films in the past and particularly about her admiration for quintessential Allen actress Diane Keaton, of whom she said: "I talk about her literally every day. She's probably a little freaked out by me, so maybe it's a better idea not to meet her because she's probably going to have to get some sort of restraining order at this point. I'm kidding, I promise I am no threat."

Firth will next be seen in "Genius" and "The Railway Man."

The movie, which has yet to be titled, will begin shooting in the South of France this summer, marking Allen's eighth film to be set in Europe. He is expected to work with many of his previous European project collaborators, including his cinematographer, production designer and costume designer.
