Panasonic has introduced 10 new exclusive getups for its slimmest camera Lumix DMC-XS1. Targeting trend-conscious consumers, the firm has come up with designs based on six concepts that include a cheery 'Pop Art' design, motif of gift wrapping, motif of plants and flowers called 'Floral Nature', an urban design 'Digital', faux fashion design 'Texture' and a traditional Japanese design with Kanji characters. The designs are up for pre-order.

Self-proclaiming to be more than a style statement, the camera comes with a 24mm wide-angle 5x optical zoom lens for achieving an ultra flat body profile and a bunch of special effects like creative control, creative retouch and creative Panaroma. The camera delivers 720p high definition video recording with a motion picture button placed on the top of the camera.

Lumix DMC-XS1 also caters to beginners who can simply put the camera on iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode that lets users capture moments with its MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer. The camera is equipped with Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Exposure and Face Detection that help shoot moments without adjusting settings for every changing set.

Users further have access to retouching their photos to improve its quality with the help of Auto Retouch. Another notable aspect of the camera is its use of microSD memory card for storage and the simple AC as well as USB power charging capacity.
