Lil Wayne launched his Spectre by Supra Sneakers line in Miami over the weekend.
The Young Money star will be designing the skateboarding shoe line and was selected for the task by Supra after they noted his love of skateboarding.
"I've been rocking this shoe before I even knew what it was," Weezy told MTV News. "For me to start skating now and shoe lines start coming at me, it would've been only right to mess with the people I been rocking with." The launch party was attended by Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant, Young Money president Mack Maine, and Bun B, and featured Wayne and tattoo artist BJ Betts printing tattoos on guests. Wayne also revealed that Chaz Ortiz (two-time Dew Tour winner) will be skating for the brand.
The shoes will be released next month.
