Vampire Weekend's upcoming album, Modern Vampires of the City, is available to stream online in its entirety via iTunes. The new album is the follow up to 2010's Contra and is set for a May 14 release date.
Frontman Ezra Koenig said in a recent interview with Q magazine that the new album is a bit "darker" and "more organic" than the band's first two records.
"It really does feel like the third chapter in a book ," the VW frontman said. "We created some characters on the first record, some of which are real people, some of which are ourselves, so it's not hard to keep following them and see what their concerns are now and how their lives have changed."
The band had previously posted three songs from the album online, "Ya Hey," "Diane Young" and "Step."
