Beyoncé has released a snippet of "Rise Up," the new track she recorded for the soundtrack to the animated Disney film, Epic. The 25-second clip was taken from a trailer to the movie and is now available on YouTube.

"Fight for you and me / Look into my eyes and believe / We're the ones who will fight / We will fight and together; we'll rise," sings Lady Bey on the Sia written and Hit-Boy produced track.

The R&B songstress is also lending her voice to the character Queen Tara in the film, a role that she told Good Morning America she connected with emotionally:

"You know I was honored when they asked for me to do this role and I was actually pregnant at the time. And I thought, you know, by the time this comes out my daughter will understand it's my voice, and what an incredible, cool point. It's a beautiful role and it has so much depth. It's so emotional. I was crying when I did the voiceover. And it was the first thing I did after giving birth."
