Satyam Computers Q4 Stand-Alone Profit Drop

Satyam Computer Services Ltd. reported fourth-quarter stand-alone net profit of Rs.266.67 crore, down from the Rs.446.89 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Total income increased to Rs.1,863.46 crore from Rs.1,595.88 crore in the year-ago quarter.

On a consolidated alone basis, the company reported fourth-quarter net profit of Rs.454.12 crore, down from the Rs.534.21 crore in Q4FY12. Total income rose to Rs.2,008.05 crore from Rs.1,738.51 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Its board recommended a dividend of Re.0.60 per equity share of Rs.2 each for the fiscal year 2013, to be paid on August 12.

At the BSE, Satyam Computer Services closed Thursday's trading at Rs.109.20, down 0.59 percent from the previous close.
