Will Smith Says His Kids Are Not Being Emancipated

It appears as if rumors of Will Smith's son Jaden wanting to be emancipated are greatly exaggerated.

The 14-year-old Jaden appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to explain his side of the story and clear up any lingering rumors.

"See, here's the thing. I'm not going anywhere. The thing that people don't get is everything at this house is free," he said during an appearance on Wednesday's episode. "I can get anything and everything at his house, so I'm going to be there for 20, 30 years. He says as soon as I have a movie that's bigger than one of his movies, I can get my own house."

Smith, who appeared on "Ellen" alongside his son, said he thinks the rumors made have spawned from a joke he made.

"I think I made a joke in Tokyo," Smith said. "I mean, my baby boy, he's never leaving me, ever. No emancipation for the Smith kids."
