Joss Whedon's adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" is set to kick off this summer's Oscars Outdoor screening series. The series will show a selection of films in Los Angeles in partnership with the Rooftop Summer Film Series.
Whedon's take on the literary classic will debut on June 5 and attendees will enjoy a Q&A session with stars Nathan Fillion, Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Clark Gregg, Fran Kranz, and Sean Maher following the presentation.
"Much Ado About Nothing" joins a diverse mix of films presented as part of the series this summer including another premiere-- Morgan Neville's "Twenty Feet From Stardom." The film is a documentary about backup singers for major pop stars.
A selection of classic films including "Groundhog Day," "Clueless," "Peter Pan," "Beetlejuice," "Blazing Saddles" will also be screened through the month of August.
