David Bowie Nominated At O Music Awards

David Bowie has been nominated for an O Music Award. Bowie's music video for "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)" has been nominated in the Too Much A** for TV category and will face competition from Sigur Ros' "Valtari," DIIV's "Wait," Frank Ocean's "Pyramids" and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."

Other categories include Digital Genius award, Best Web-Born Artist, Fan Army FTW, Must Follow Artist on Twitter and Best Artist Instagram.

The O Music Awards will take place June 19th at 7PM EST, complete with a 24-hour live-streamed party to "celebrate and honor the artists, innovators and fans that are impacting music, technology and counter culture today." More than 50 bands will perform during the event.

Fans can vote on OMusicAwards.com via their Facebook or Twitter account. Open nominations have begun and will continue through Tuesday, May 21.
