Authorities in Boyd County, Kentucky have arrested one person after multiple meth labs were discovered within the county.

Local television station WCHS reports that authorities arrested Dwayne Hatten after they received a tip that he was manufacturing meth inside his home. Once they arrived on the scene, they found eight meth labs, one of which was still active.

Hatten was arrested and charged with manufacturing meth and possession of meth and is currently being held in the Boyd County Detention Center.

In addition, authorities are investigating another man, Richard Smith, for manufacturing meth as well. Authorities also received a tip that said he was manufacturing the drug inside his home, and discovered and active lab when they searched his house.

Both tips received by authorities were those given to them by the public.
