The Australian dollar slipped against the Canadian and U.S. currencies in late Asian deals on Wednesday.
The aussie is now trading at 0.9769 against the greenback and 1.0042 against the loonie, down from Tuesday's close of 0.9803 and 1.0068, respectively. The next downside target level for the aussie is seen around 0.96 against the greenback and 0.99 against the loonie.
