Drivers on the Baltimore Beltway had an unexpected site on Tuesday morning when a stranded motorist set up a drum set and began playing on the shoulder.
The reportedly ran out of gas on the Interstate 695 inner loop, between Windsor Mill Road and Security Boulevard and decided to work in some practice time while he awaited assistance, according to the Baltimore Sun.
A Maryland State Trooper pulled over after spotting the unusual scene at around 10:30 am on Tuesday morning. Police have not identified the motorist, as he was not cited with any law infractions, the Sun reports.
The Trooper on the scene reportedly helped the stranded drummer refill his gas tank and the man then packed away his instrument and left the scene without incident.
