Katherine Fox, a Dunstable, U.K. woman, says she comforted George Michael after the pop star had a car accident. Speaking with the BBC, Fox says she pulled over to offer help after "seeing a body lying in the road."
"I was driving in the third lane of the motorway and had to slam my brakes on and go between the third and fourth lane. At that point I looked back and saw a body lying in the road so I stopped my car because no-one except the car behind me had stopped," Fox told the news source.
She added that he had a deep cut above his left eyebrow which was really bleeding down his face into his teeth."
She sat with Michael until a medical chopper came to airlift him to a nearby hospital. She says she was not aware of who he was until she read of the accident on the BBC's website.
Michael is currently in the hospital; an update on his condition is expected later in the week.
