People are more and more inclined to social media today, and multi tasking comes as an easy thing to many of them. Tweeting on a favorite show, while watching the same on the Television, has become quite viral these days.
The endless comments about one's favorite sport show or night drama just go on and on. Capitalizing this into an opportunity, the social media site, Twitter has now entered into partnership deal with many media and sports companies to sell multi-screen advertisers content, which is collectively called as 'Twitter Amplify.' The video content is expected to be television content like clips from shows, which can then be shared on Twitter, and the advertisers can run ads before the videos are being viewed. Twitter Amplify allows media brands and their advertising partners to promote television clips on Twitter. Say, for instance think a 10 second replay from a football game accompanied by a short commercial from a big automobile firm. Twitter began testing these ad units earlier this spring with various media partners, including Turner Broadcasting and Disney's ESPN, quoted mashable.com.
