Beyoncé has ramped up her tour's security detail after stalker fears were sparked for her U.K. shows. The pop diva's staff has been briefed to watch out at Saturday night's Twickenham Stadium (London) show for a man, Bassey Essien, who has sent Beyonce threatening letters.

An insider told the U.K.'s the Sun: "Staff have been briefed on the situation and pictures of him have been passed round. They've been told to keep their eyes open and be extra vigilant . . . It is believed similar letters to the ones that Essien sent have been received."

Essien first garnered attention when he approached Bey at a book signing in 2009 and gave her a book of his notes on religion, which he wanted to discuss with her.

He then sent her a series of threatening letters claiming she had murdered the real Beyonce Knowles and that she was an impostor. Beyonce won an anti-harassment order against him in 2011.
