Chris Young has released details on his upcoming album, posting two videos to Vine saying that his next effort is titled A.M. and is due for release on September 17.
In an interview with Taste of Country, Young said the new record will feature a new sound.
"It's gonna be a different sound," Young said. "The record sounds different than what we've done in the past."
A.M. is the follow-up to Young's 2011 album, Neon. That LP produced two number one hits and the platinum single, "Tomorrow." Neon itself peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Country Albums chart.
Young is on tour now with Brad Paisley. The trek continues through October 26 at Edmonton, Alberta's Rexall Place.
