Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson announced Wednesday that his for-profit space enterprise would be launching Justin Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun into the great beyond.
Following the announcement, the Bieb hit Twitter to suggest shooting a music video while in orbit: "@richardbranson @scooterbraun @virgingalactic let's shoot a music video in SPACE!! #nextLEVEL"
Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo is destined for its first suborbital test flight later this year. Those interested in signing up will have to plunk down $250,000 for the privilege of getting blasted into space. SpaceShipTwo will carry six passengers at a time 68 miles above earth where passengers will experience zero gravity.
Ashton Kutcher, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio are among the celebs who have already paid the deposit and are awaiting the launch.
