Kings of Leon rocked a headlining set at New York City's Governor's Ball on Saturday. The show had been postponed from the previous night due to poor weather. The festival, held on NYC's Randall's Island, also boasted performances from Guns N' Roses, Kanye West and Erykah Badu.
"As you guys know, we were supposed to be doing this last night, and we're supposed to be getting ready to go to London right about now," Jared Followill told audience members before the set. "But some of our equipment had to go on ahead, but we're still going to give you our best show."
Despite the best intentions to continue with the entire festival rain or shine, many of the acts scheduled for Friday were postponed by the fest's promoters.
Festival organizers eventually canceled all remaining acts at about 9:30 pm on Friday citing "high winds and unsafe weather conditions."
