European Economics Preview: U.K. Industrial Output Data Due

Industrial production from the U.K. is the major data due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

The State Secretariat For Economic Affairs is slated to issue Swiss economic forecast at 1.45 am ET.

At 3.00 am ET, the Hungarian Statistical Office is set to issue consumer prices for May. Annual inflation is forecast to rise to 1.9 percent from 1.7 percent in April.

In the meantime, Turkey's GDP figures are due. Economists forecast the economy to grow 2.3 percent annually in the first quarter after rising 1.4 percent in the quarter ago.

At 3.30 am ET, Statistics Sweden is set to publish consumer prices for May. Economists forecast prices to ease 0.3 percent annually, following a 0.5 percent drop in April.

U.K. industrial output figures are due from the Office for National Statistics at 4.30 am ET. Economists forecast output to remain flat month-on-month in April after rising 0.7 percent in March.
