CardioNet Inc. (BEAT) announced after the close Monday that it has entered into a three-year National Provider Agreement with UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company, covering all of CardioNet's monitoring modalities.
CardioNet gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and rose in early trade, before settling into a narrow range. The stock ended the day with a gain of 1.78 at $4.99 on the highest volume of the year. CardioNet vaulted to a new high for the year.
