The Bank of Korea is on Thursday scheduled to conclude its monetary policy meeting and then announce its decision on interest rates, highlighting a busy day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. The central bank is widely expected to keep rates on hold at 2.50 percent.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand also will finish its policy meeting and render its decision on rates; it likewise is expected to hold rates steady at 2.50 percent.

The central bank in Indonesia also will conclude its policy meeting and then announce its rate decision; it is expected to keep rates unchanged at 5.75 percent.

Australia will provide unemployment data for May, with analysts expecting the unemployment rate to climb to 5.6 percent from 5.5 percent in April - with the loss of 10,000 jobs following the addition of 50,100 in the previous month.
