Liam Gallagher says that he'd like to bury the hatchet with his brother Noel in order to reform Oasis for the 20th anniversary of their smash album, Definitely Maybe.

"It'd be nice to do that [anniversary] thing that's coming up," he said in an interview with NME. "I'd be up for that. But I'd still go back to Beady Eye and Noel would go back to his thing. We could bury the hatchet for a quick lap of honor."

He was quick to add that fans shouldn't hold out much hope for new material from the boys.

"I don't think we'd ever make another record," he said. "I doubt we'll ever get back together."

The band has been resistant to reforming in the past, and, so far, Noel has not commented on his brother's remarks.
