Krysten Ritter ("Don't Trust the B in Apt. 23") has been added to the cast of "Big Eyes," the latest film from director Tim Burton. Ritter joins previously announced actors Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz in the film.
"Big Eyes" is a biopic of artists Margaret and Walter Keane, played by Adams and Waltz, who become famous for their portraits of children with large eyes. Ritter plays the supportive friend to Margaret.
DeeAnn (Ritter), reports Deadline, is a "free-spirited confidante to Margaret who tries to coax her friend to come out of her shell."
The plot centers on Walter's attempt to take credit for the work that Margaret does and the latter's struggle to gain confidence and ownership of her work.
Ritter is currently filming the comedy "Search Party" with Alison Brie and Adam Pally.
