Michael Bay is reportedly in talks to man the helm of the screen adaptation of Ubisoft's hit video game franchise "Ghost Recon." The project is in development with Warner Brothers and rumors are swirling that Bay may not only produce but also direct the project.

It would be the second cinematic take on "Ghost Recon," following Ridley Scott's short that aired on G4 last year and is now on DVD and Blu-ray. Ubisoft Motion Pictures' Jean-Julien Baronnet released a statement on the project noting:

"Having one of Hollywood's boldest feature film directors attached to bringing Ghost Recon to the big screen is a dream come true for us."

Several other Ubisoft titles are also in the mix for film adaptation including "Assassin's Creed" with Michael Fassbender and "Splinter Cell" with Tom Hardy.
