Open Road Films has confirmed that their Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher will be set for release on August 16. The project, titled "JOBS," details Jobs' rise from obscurity to one of the most powerful technology executives of all time.

Joshua Michael Stern directed the picture with a script by Matthew Whiteley. Kutcher joined an all-star cast for the project, which includes Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine.

The film was originally set to open on August 19, but Open Road Pulled the project to find a more competitive release date. The film premiered at Sundance and EW paid especially high praise to Gad's portrayal of Steve Wozniak, saying it "strikes the most relatable note in the movie."
