Keifer Thompson, one half of the husband-wife Thompson Square duo, is still suffering from the vocal malady he came down with last month, leading the band to cancel several more gigs, beginning with a June 13 date in Illinois.
"Update . . . I can talk now. Just started therapy. Not quite ready to sing yet," Keifer told his fans via Twitter.
Two more dates—June 13 in Peoria, Illinois and June 14 in St. Louis, Missouri—were also axed. According to the band's tour schedule, their next show is set for June 21 at the Butler County Fair in Allison, Iowa.
"Words cannot express how devastated we both are to bring this news to our fans. We hope that you will understand what a difficult decision this has been and know that we can't wait to get back out on the road and make it up to you as soon as possible," wrote Keifer in an official post to the band's website.
