Tata Motors Ltd. on Sunday said that its global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, in May were 81,783 units. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 163,204 vehicles.
While global wholesales of luxury sedans of Jaguar brand stood at 7,061 units, Land Rover sales were at 24,149 units during the month, the company said. In total, sales of luxury brands from Jaguar Land Rover were at 31,210 units.
In May, total global wholesales of all commercial vehicles (Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range) were 38,641 nos, while total sales of all passenger vehicles totaled 43,142 units.
At the BSE, Tata Motors shares are currently trading at Rs.291.30, down 1.89 percent from the previous close.
