Netflix Inc. (NFLX) announced Monday morning that it signed a multi-year agreement with DreamWorks Animation (DWA), for new original TV series. The companies have not revealed the financial aspects of the deal and details of the series.
DreamWorks Animation gapped open sharply higher Monday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. Shares finished up by 0.93 at $23.74 and broke out to a new high for the year.
Netflix gapped open sharply higher Monday and rose further around mid-morning. The stock finished up by 15.24 at $229.23 and climbed to a 2-week high.
