The NZ dollar resumed its early downtrend against the euro in early European deals on Tuesday.
The kiwi fell to a 5-day low of 1.6779 versus the euro, off its early high of 1.6671. If the kiwi drops below last week's 1.71 mark, it will touch its lowest level set on December 2011. At yesterday's close, the pair was worth 1.6708.
