The New Zealand dollar edged higher against its U.S. counterpart on Wednesday morning in New York.
The kiwi rose to a 2-day high of 0.8027 against the greenback, moving past the two consecutive session's intact resistance level of 0.8020.
The extension of the present bull run could help the kiwi-buck pair challenging the key 0.81 level in the near-term.
