Sarepta Therapeutics Inc. (SRPT) announced Wednesday morning that results at 84 weeks from its Phase IIb open-label extension study of eteplirsen, in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, showed a continued stabilization of walking ability in eteplirsen-treated patients evaluable on the 6-minute walk test.
Sarepta Therapeutics gapped open higher Wednesday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed up by 1.63 at $39.78 on above average volume. Sarepta Therapeutics closed challenging the upper end of a 1-month range.
