Silverdell plc (SID.L) announced it has been awarded a number of new contracts across the business worth 12.1 million pounds in total revenues. The company said, of these contract wins, at least 2.0 million pounds is scheduled to fall in the current financial year. The Group has been awarded a 3.2 million pounds demolition and decommissioning project, as prime contractor, for a large oil and gas customer in Calgary, West Canada. The Group has also won decommissioning and remediation works in the UK totalling 8.9 million pounds, for customers in both the public and private sectors.
Sean Nutley, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said, "These contract awards not only highlight our strong competitive advantage, but are also at margin levels consistent with achieving our expectations for the full year."
