A shooting at a Louisville, Kentucky condominium complex left three dead and a fourth person injured. According to local news source WAVE, witnesses saw a young boy running through the pool area, yelling, "they shot my mom."
Alex Stengel, a lifeguard at the pool who called 911, told the station that the scene left many in shock:
"When somebody yells shots have been fired through a pool area with children in the water and moms right there eating lunch you are in shock, it was just kind of surreal."
Louisville Metro Police spokesman told the Courier-Journal that the shooter was one of the dead, who also included a juvenile female, a 38-year-old female and a 40-year-old male. Another female in her late 60s was taken to a local hospital.
He added that a domestic situation sparked the violence and that everyone involved has been accounted for.
