Courier giant Deutsche Post DHL (DPSTF.PK,DEUPF.PK) announced that operations of Adcloud GmbH will be ceased by the end of 2013 due to business reasons. All existing customer orders will be honoured fully and to the usual high quality until then, the company said. Adcloud GmbH was acquired in 2011 by Deutsche Post as a start-up company.
Deutsche Post said it streamlines the structure of its online marketing subsidiaries. The subsidiaries nugg.ad, intelliAd and optivo will continue to cover the attractive display, search and e-mail marketing channels.
"Deutsche Post will continue to invest in the attractive and growing market for online marketing. Our goal is to further expand our position as a neutral provider of technological infrastructure services," saidIngo Bohlken, CEO Dialogue Marketing at Deutsche Post.
