Wirecard AG (WRCDF.PK), a Germany-based provider of electronic payment and risk management applications, said Wednesday that its executive board determined the issue price for the accelerated bookbuilding offering from the capital increase resolved Tuesday at 32.75 euros per share.

The company stated that about 11.20 million new shares from the capital increase were successfully placed with institutional investors. The capital increase has generated gross proceeds of about 367 million euros for the company.

Wirecard has undertaken this capital increase to be prepared for upcoming M&A opportunities continuing the acquisition strategy pursued over the last years. The company intends to over-proportionally benefit from an accelerated consolidation in the payment industry.

On 28 February 2014 the new shares are expected to be included in the existing quotation at the regulated market and the sub-segment of the regulated market with further post-admission obligations of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard).
