Haiti Bus Accident Kills 23

A bus crash in southwest Haiti has killed 23 people and injured about 17 on Saturday, reports said.

The accident reportedly occurred near the coastal town of Roseau, east of Jeremie. It was not clear whether any tourists or foreigners were there among the victims, reports added.

Most of the dead were from the town of d'Anse d'Hainault on the far western tip of the southern peninsula. The cause of the accident was unknown.
