Cohen & Steers Q2 Profit Tops View - Quick Facts

Investment manager Cohen & Steers Inc. (CNS) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income attributable to common stockholders of $22.2 million or $0.49 per share, compared with $15.3 million or $0.34 per share last year.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.44 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue for the quarter was $78.41 million, an increase of 0.8% from $77.80 million a year ago, while two analysts expected revenue of $77.73 million.
