China's urban unemployment rate came in at 4.09 percent in 2014, compared to 4.1 percent in 2013, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security reported Friday.
Cities created 13.22 million jobs in 2014, it said.
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics this week showed that the overall jobless rate was at 5.1 percent in 2014.
