Britvic H1 Profit Climbs, Revenues Down; Outlook Unchanged - Quick Facts

Soft drinks maker Britvic Plc (BVIC.L) reported Wednesday that its first-half pre-tax profit grew 12.6 percent to 51 million pounds from last year's 45.3 million pounds.

Profit after tax increased 14.7 percent to 39 million pounds from 34 million pounds a year ago. Profit after exceptional items was 37.9 million pounds, compared to 27.5million pounds last year. Adjusted earnings per share of 16.4 pence increased 11.6 percent on last year.

Group revenue, meanwhile, declined 0.7 percent to 650.3 million pounds from 670.7 million pounds last year, with volume and ARP marginally down.

Further, Britvic's board has announced an interim dividend per share of 6.7p, up 9.8 percent on last year.

Looking ahead, the company's full-year EBIT guidance remains unchanged at 164 million pounds to 173 million pounds.
